Brooks has just announced its release of its 11th iteration of the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 11. Can anyone say “New Years resolution?”
If you hope on purchasing a pair of the GTS 11’s, you better cross your fingers. The Adrenaline GTS 11 was available for preorder and reports show that this model will fly off the shelf at a rate 49% faster than the previous iteration offered by Brooks, the GTS 10.

The GTS 11 boasts all of the latest technology that Brooks has to offer. The Adrenaline 11 has won the prestigious Runners World Award for best update in 2011. By adding its patented DNA cushioning system to the new edition of the Adrenaline line, Brooks has once again proven to be far ahead of the competition.
The groundbreaking DNA cushioning system dampens foot strike impact. DNA can be found in the heel as well as the forefoot. Each DNA foot strike response is unique and varies according to height, weight and speed. Brooks DNA technology improves shoe resiliency and gives its wearer a literal “bounce in your step”.
The Progressive Diagonal Roll Bar in the GTS 11 provides maximum arch support for our flat-footed friends. The PDBR stabilizes the foot to prevent those aches and pains that can side track even the most determined pacer.
Look out for the Catepillar Crash pad that creates the optimal landing experience for every stride.
In a wise turn of events, Brooks has once again thrown in the world famous BioMoGo midsole which decompose faster than ordinary rubber midsoles.
I highly doubt you will ever see a pair of Brooks Adrenaline hanging from the neighborhood telephone wires. However, if you do spot some, you can rest assured the midsoles will hang there 50x less than an ordinary pair of “sneakers”.
Is Brooks Adrenaline GTS 11 The Best Running Shoe For Me?
Runners with moderately flat feet, who are looking for stability without sacrificing comfort, have praised the Brooks Adrenaline line since 1995. The Adrenaline is the most popular running shoe for overpronators that Brooks has to offer. Over 339,000 units of the Adrenaline GTS 10 have been sold to date.
While it is hard to find many complaints about the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 11, some fans of Brooks prefer the Brooks Trance 10 model. Also consider the Brooks Ravenna, which has a 3D adjustable arch strap that is used to lock down the foot.
A minimal amount of runners have found the Adrenaline to be too snug around the upper foot, but found that buying ½ sizes larger helped alleviate their discomfort. Other testers preferred the DNA cushion to be throughout the foot. Adrenaline limits its DNA system to the heel and forefoot.
The success of the Adrenaline line speaks to the quality of product produced by Brooks. If you are an athlete with normal to moderate pronation, you shouldn’t hesitate to try on a pair of Adrenaline GTS 11’s.
